NEW ALUMINUM-SULFUR BATTERY, EASY TO FIND, LOW COST

Aluminum-Sulfur, A new type of battery was invented by researchers at MIT. The new battery is a low-cost and easy-to-find material designed to replace expensive and environmentally damaging lithium-ion batteries. In the growing Electric Vehicle market, most EVs are currently powered by lithium-ion batteries. This is too expensive for most drivers and other energy alternatives are still very limited. This new battery power is called the Aluminum-Sulfur Battery; batteries that have been tried in real use and are expected to be trialed in the electric vehicle market in 2023.
