Driving Green Industry with Pump and Valve Technology

The Green Industry refers to industries that prioritize "environmentally friendly manufacturing and services that are sustainable and beneficial to society." The goal of Net Zero has compelled many businesses and factories to adapt accordingly. Green Industry focuses on "reducing energy consumption," "minimizing resource usage, pollution, and waste," and creating environmentally friendly products.
The 5 levels of development towards Green Industry, according to the Ministry of Industry's requirements:

- Level 1 Green Commitment: Establish policies, goals, and action plans to reduce environmental impact, and communicate these policies to all personnel within the organization.
- Level 2 Green Activity: Implement activities following the established policies, goals, and action plans to reduce environmental impact effectively and successfully.
- Level 3 Green System: Manage the environment systematically, with monitoring and evaluation for continuous improvement.
- Level 4 Green Culture: Create an organizational culture where everyone shares a sense of responsibility for preserving and maintaining a good environment.
- Level 5 Green Network: Expand the scope of Green Industry from within to outside the organization throughout the supply chain, by supporting partners and allies to become Green Industry.

To initiate the transition to Green Industry, it is recommended to start with the internal production processes that can be controlled and changed immediately. The most prevalent equipment in the production process in every industry is "pumps and valves." Therefore, improving the efficiency of these two devices is a key component in the factory development plan towards Green Industry, and it can also "reduce energy consumption" and resource usage in the production process.
