MAJOR REGIONAL TRI-SERVICE EVENT,
DEFENSE & SECURITY 2022 IS NOW OPENED FOR BUSINESS

A spectacular grand opening of Defense & Security 2022 (10th edition) - Tri-Service Asian Defense & Security Exhibition, Conference and Networking Event, was officially opened this morning. The opening ceremony was presided over by General Prayut Chan-o-cha, Minister of Defence at IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Center, Bangkok, Thailand. The opening ceremony was attended by the Ministers of Defence, Chiefs of Armed Forces, Commanders in Chiefs, and high-ranking government officials, in particular from ASEAN, including Senior Police officials, Ambassadors, Governmental Officials, Exhibitors, and other key professionals in the defense and security industry.

Defense & Security 2022 is being organised under the concept, "The Power of Partnership". The idea of organising such an event is to create an atmosphere of cooperation, networking and knowledge exchange that will lead to sustainable cooperation and relationships at both corporate and personal levels.

General Chaichan Changmongkol, Deputy Minister of Defence hosted an Executive Lunch for all Official Delegations, Senior Thai Military Officials, Exhibitors, and Honored Guests. This is one part of many networking activities to build relationships and establish professional business networks.

This was led by the Ministry of Defence, Chiefs of Armed Forces for Army, Navy and Air Force along with Senior Police officers, and key-decision makers from other high-ranking officials from around the world - especially ASEAN. Over the 4 days, these delegations will be busy with VIP tours, Government-to- Government (G2G) and Government-to-Business (G2B) meetings with exhibitors. All will exchange views and are projected to establish long-term associations and partnerships.
