The show features over 318 defense and internal security exhibiting companies from 37 countries including some of the world’s leading military manufacturers in all three services - Land, Sea & Air and internal Security. This edition, the show is hosting 15 major National Pavilions. The National Pavilions are from China, Czech Republic, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Israel, Korea, Malaysia, Pakistan, Qatar, Singapore, Thailand, Turkiye, and USA. Cutting-edge technologies and equipment from major manufacturers are being showcased in these pavilions.

Admiral Teerakul Kanchana, Deputy Commander-in-Chief, Royal Thai Navy hosted the official lunch on behalf of the Royal Thai Navy. The Admiral expressed his sincere appreciation to all attendees for attending the lunch and also in making Defense & Security 2022 an outstanding success.

THE BUSINESS MATCHING PROGRAM HAS BEEN A GREAT SUCCESS, EXCELLENT FEEDBACK FROM PARTICIPANTS

The program matched registered trade visitors and exhibitors by setting up appointments to meet in person at the show for discussion and to examine the possibility of creating a business partnership. It is expected to create over 250 matching pairs.

“DIRECTION AND GUIDELINES OF THE STRATEGIC DRIVE TOWARDS THE FUTURE OF THE THAI DEFENCE INDUSTRY” - A MAJOR SUCCESS!

The seminar attached over 150 military personnel, professionals in the defense industry and defense manufacturers. It was presided open by General Warakiat Rattananont, Permanent Secretary of Defence as Chairman of Defense & Security 2022 Organising Committee and useful information on the national defense industry such as policies, directions, incentives & privileges, and goals in driving or investing in the Thai defense industry were shared and discussed from experts and officials in the private and public sectors. The feedback from participants was excellent.

“DEVELOPMENT OF THAILAND MRO SECTION TO BE THE HUB OF AN ASEAN MRO BASE”

The seminar will be focusing on driving forward Thailand as the MRO hub of ASEAN. Participants are expected to attend from both the private and public sectors including potential investors. Useful information will be presented in the seminar on the development, capabilities, and requirements in making Thailand into a hub for maintenance in the ASEAN region. At the end of the seminar, there will be opportunities for participants to ask questions and/or share their views with the speakers.
