Luke leads Cornucopia, a Singapore-based, globally oriented foresight and strategy practice advancing future-readiness, sustainability, and innovation in food-energy-water and urban systems across the public, private, and people domains. He is an international keynote speaker and acknowledged thought leader on emerging opportunities in food systems transformation and sustainability, on corporate and national success strategies amid the “polycrisis”, and on leading with foresight. He has authored book chapters on the future of Asian food security and on global water futures; developed scenarios on geopolitics, carbon markets, and sustainable development; and advised on strategies for food system transformation and product and value chain innovation. Luke serves as corporate adviser and resident futurist to a range of entities, advising and supporting G/B-to-G/B collaborations and investments in strategic sectors across ASEAN and emerging markets.

Professor Teng is internationally recognized for his expertise in Food Security, AgTech, Biotechnology applications in agriculture, Digitalization in agrifood systems and Smart/Precision farming. He has done project work in over 40 countries and has published over fifteen books and over two hundred technical papers. Prof Teng is also Visiting Senior Fellow at the Institute of Southeast Asian Studies (ISEAS – Yusof Ishak), and Senior Fellow at the Southeast Asian Regional Center for Graduate Study and Research in Agriculture (SEARCA). Additionally he advises several agtech startups (Tropic BioSciences UK, AgriG8 Singapore, Rize, Singapore) and venture funds (Wavemaker Impact and Milltrust International), and is a Director in Terrasys Innovation Ventures and Chair of Asia Biobusiness Pte. Ltd. Singapore.
Paul previously held leadership positions in the Worldfish Centre (Deputy Director-General), the International Rice Research Institute (Programme Leader), Monsanto Company (Asia-Pac VP), The National Institute of Education Singapore and U.S. universities (Minnesota, Hawaii).

He was the founding Director of the Clinical Nutrition Research Centre, Singapore, and Director of UKs first functional food Centre in Oxford .He obtained his MSc and PhD in Nutrition from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. He was a Board member of UK Food Standards Agency, He is internationally recognised for his work on melding the Science of Food and nutrition, His numerous awards include- Institute of Food Technologists (USA) -W.K. Kellogg International Food Security Award & Lectureship (2019), The prestigious Niigata International Food Award 2018 known as "Asian World Food Prize". In 2024 he was made a Fellow of the American Society for Nutrition -The Highest award in Human Nutrition. He Continues to be a Member of the IUFoST Task Force on “Food processing for Nutrition, diet and Health”.
